A Fresh Start : What to expect going forward on Very Paige
Blogging has always been something that ebbs and flows in my life. I've been using some version of an online journal since about 2003. 15 years later and I'm still doing it. While my interests have changed, and I've become a bit more private in what I post about my life online, I still want to share. I've decided to have a bit of a fresh start around this space, and take Very Paige into a more thoughtful space.
I will most definitely continue sewing and posting about my sewing. I will be doing less pattern testing and only sewing things that I know will work well in my smaller more minimal wardrobe. I want to spend more time on finishes and be more thoughtful on my materials. I will be sewing at a slower and more deliberate pace. I want to enjoy the process and not be worried about pumping out garments that I will get rid of sooner rather than later.
If you keep up with my photography website - http://paigepederzani.com - you'll know that I've been having a blast planning and executing my fashion photography. While I plan to keep most of those blog posts over on the other website, some of the more creative aspects of planning those shoots might make their way over here. Being an independant fashion photographer has lead me down some interesting paths when it comes to sourcing and DIYing to get the look I want.
I married the love of my life last year, and we've been working hard at renovating our home, and planning our future. I can't wait to show you all the hard work we've put into our home. It's slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite places. We've also got a lot of travel I'd love to share with you. Our Honeymoon, a little late I know, is scheduled for this October. I'll be taking lots of photos and videos to document it.
I'm also going to be doing more videos on youtube. Right now on my channel I've got mainly photography related videos, but plan to expand into sewing and more personal subjects. I love youtube and can't wait to contribute to it!
I hope you all will stay here and join me in this new direction!
