Sew What Do I Wear: Summer Vacation
I was invited to participate in the Patterns for Pirates and Made For Mermaids Sew What To Wear Blog Hop! Sew What To Wear is a blog hop series where a group of bloggers show how they would wear a various combination of made for mermaids and patterns for pirates patterns. I made up the Mama Isabel as an amazingly comfortable swimsuit cover that I can wear to dinner without looking too much like a beach bum! It's a super easy sew and the drafting works really well on my body. You'll have to excuse all the eyes closed in these photos. It's been raining for the past three days and I had to sneak out at 7:00am to get any decent outdoor photos, I may or may not have been asleep.
As I've stated about 100 times before on this blog, I'm a slightly lazy summer dresser who lives in her swimsuit. That's what makes the Mama Isabel so great for me! I can't wait to show you all the swimsuit I'm rocking underneath these! The patterns for pirates facebook group has some awesome sneak peaks up! Check back tomorrow for that post!
Besides the comfy and versatile Mama Isabel, I've been rocking my Free Spirit Tank and Mama Chloe Skirt Pretty much non-stop! You can even check out my crop top hack and how to do it using a quarter and an elastic here. You can even catch me layering up with a cocoon cardi and peg legs on the chillier days for this rainy midwest summer.
What patterns have you been putting on repeat this summer?
