From time to time I talk about a group that I help run, called Ohio Historic Costumers. We are mostly just a small group of people who enjoy historic costuming and like to get together to sew, bounce ideas off of, and learn from. I thought I'd share a few quick snap from our most recent sewing circle, and invite anyone who lives in Ohio, or close to one of our borders to join the group. It's so much fun! I started tracing my newest historic project, Larkin and Smith's 18th century gown. I'm really excited to get it sewn up hopefully before the year ends. It's a completely hand-sewn project- so we'll see how that goes!
